New wheels
Once inside, I put it on jackstands, took the wheels off and had the Goodyear SureGrip tires removed at Costco, where they would be putting on BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain 315/75/R16 tires after I cleaned up the rims and had them powder coated. First I removed some dings and straightened some small rim bends before sandblasting. The sandblasting cabinet in Wes’s shop wasn’t big or powerful enough to do the rims, so I ended up taking the rims to Flamespray Northwest, who sandblasted the 5 rims nicely. After that, the rims took a ride to American Powder Coating to get a silver powder coat, which only took 2 days. Than back to Costco for the new tires - which look great! I’m a little worried about getting the C303 back out of the garage with these on. The original tires had tubes, so popping a bead really wasn’t such an issue. Hopefully I can deflate them enough to roll out from under my glass (!) garage door.
If anyone would like the old tires, I am trying to sell the set for $100.

Hi. I know the posting for the tires was a long time ago - 2 years ago. But, if you still have them, I am interested. I live in the Portland area, so not too far away. Thanks, - Ken
